After surviving an ambush, Willa receives a cryptic warning to abandon her investigation. Eventually confronting Jelle Schylar, who reveals the truth about the evening Leah disappeared. Meanwhile, Fenn discovers a connection between the attacks and Wallace Corp. Willa uncovers more about Leah’s memories at the Lilith Memory Lab, while Fenn encounters the mysterious Styles, leading to an unexpected alliance.

Fenn is forcibly introduced to The Underground, a group of free replicants resisting Wallace Corp’s influence. Here, Fenn learns shocking truths about N9 memory manipulation and trauma-based control. He adopts the name "Merrick" as a symbolic break from his LAPD identity. The Underground tasks him with retrieving Leah to secure her escape off-planet.

Willa, following Merrick’s message, walks into a deadly ambush at the Railway Depot, narrowly surviving. Merrick finally finds Leah at the Lilith Memory Lab, but Wallace Corp’s assault forces them into a final stand. A brutal confrontation unfolds in the Memory Lab between Willa and Merrick - marking the end of a complex and painful journey.
