Office of Mr Grey: The Founder of Arcanus Veritas
Merton College Investigations
Administrative Office: A thin elderly woman with small glasses manages administrative tasks at a large wooden desk.
Room 12 (Elyza’s Room):
- John (Roommate): Suggests Elyza is at the Poetry Club. Mentions a drug called Weiß Maus (White Mouse).
- Elyza:
- Fluent in German.
- Her father is on the hospital board.
- States Andy wasn't depressed or a drug user but was negatively influenced by the Bullingdon Club.
Room 6 (Andy's Room):
- Found personal items, including:
- Love letters and poetry.
- History books (Roman era).
- A small metal box engraved with "W.M." containing a single rat-shaped white pill.
- Letters reveal Andy's connections to someone close, possibly Elyza.
Common Room: Large social space featuring a fireplace, sofas, desks, and a Fußball table. The Poetry Club gathers here.
Police Station
Jacob goes to the Police Station in an attempt to uncover more information about the crime scene.
Sergeant Kenny Kragowski: Tall and broad, his office contains a photo of him holding a prize-winning fish. Provides contact details for the beat cop who found Andy's body.
Scientific Findings
Dr Monroe's Laboratory:
- On Andy's Seeds (Stomach):
- Fossilised seed pods, estimated to be from 10,000-30,000 BC, resemble plum cores.
- Seeds seem "real" but don't feel physically complete, as if existing partially in another reality.
- Microscopic analysis reveals plant cells, but their edges fold inward unnaturally.
- Poking the cells causes unusual refraction at the edges.
- On the Weiß Maus Drug:
- Cells within the pill display electrical activity.
- Composed of plant cells, but their nuclei fold inward in reverse compared to the seeds.
- Combined Experiment: Combining seed cells with drug cells caused both to collapse into singularities.
Apartment 3: Jerry Smithson (Bullingdon Club Member)
The group have leads that taken them to a member of the Bullingdon Club to understand further their involvement with the victim
Initial Scene: Jerry and his girlfriend found unconscious in the bedroom, appearing drugged on Weiß Maus. Room darkened, and smoke began pouring out of a corner, coalescing into a shape.
Supernatural Entity Attack:
- An invisible, 2D being was revealed using flour thrown by Imelda.
- The creature was tall, elongated, and constantly folding in on itself.
- Jerry was lifted off the ground, his flesh unravelled as it was being peeled off of his body (like an orange).
- The flour coating the entity turned a deep blue, burning wherever it landed.
Ellen's Lightning Spell: Her attempt failed catastrophically, turning her left arm black and her eyes glowing purple. A massive bolt of purple lightning was unleashed, cracking through the apartment - almost killing Ellen.
Aftermath:
- Jerry was completely destroyed by the entity.
- Ellen had fallen unconscious from the energy of her lightning powers
- Imelda's Hysteria: Overcome by manic laughter, she played with the pooling blood and developed a dark fascination with it. This lasted for 8 hours.
- Sounds of sirens can be heard in the distance
Unfolding Mysteries
- Weiß Maus Drug: Its link to plant-based cells and electrical activity ties it to Andy's seeds, but its full effects remain unclear.
- Supernatural Entity: The folding, 2D creature may be linked to the drug or otherworldly forces.
- Bullingdon Club's Role: The organisation continues to be a source of influence and corruption in the investigation.
