PROHIBITED DISTRIBUTION - SESSION 005 FIELD DOSSIER
Classification: HIGHLY RESTRICTED. Human detail preserved at handler request. Compiled for internal morale-stabilisation and behavioural profiling.
In the moments following the explosion, Brandon F. McGill mutters, "What did I do?"
Agent Pallbearer immediately intervenes and constructs a stabilising narrative, attributing the blast to a gas leak exacerbated by storm conditions. Agent Paxton supports the explanation without hesitation.
Brandon steps forward and wraps their arms around Pallbearer.
At the forest line, the large towering entity remains motionless. Smaller forms scatter through the trees as rain continues to fall.
Inside the ranger station, Ranger Blomberg attempts to maintain order among injured civilians. One man is freed from beneath a collapsed bookcase, only for responders to discover that a ruptured radiator beneath the shelving has released steam that severely burned and softened the lower half of his leg.
Civilian distress escalates as the extent of the injury becomes visible.
Blomberg continues triage despite rising panic and shouting demands for answers.
Agent Pallbearer searches the upper floor for medical supplies and enters the storage room containing the covered body of Ranger Lemay. As they search, the sheet covering the body rises subtly, as though displaced from beneath.
Pallbearer fires into the sheet. It falls flat, then slowly pulls tight around the mouth area as if something inhales beneath it.
Pallbearer fires again. The body convulses briefly before going still.
A third round is discharged. When the sheet is removed, Lemay’s body remains present, now bearing fresh ballistic trauma in addition to prior fatal injuries.
A locked cabinet is opened with recovered keys, revealing three shotguns, two rifles, and ammunition. Weapons are distributed among rangers and selected civilians.
As barricades are reinforced, Agent Paxton experiences a direct cognitive intrusion. They report hearing voices in multiple languages demanding identification and urging compliance.
The voices instruct them to "let us in" and claim that a single breath will end the conflict. Threats escalate to promises of destruction if they do not comply.
Paxton refuses.
Recognising loss of control, they demand Ranger Blomberg render them unconscious. When hesitation occurs, they begin to stagger toward an open window.
Agent Pallbearer grabs Paxton and strikes them in an attempt to incapacitate. Paxton loses consciousness.
Brandon screams.
Brandon’s distress escalates. Agent Pallbearer rises from the floor without visible contact, suspended mid-air.
Brandon accuses them of working with the "Long Men" and states that they do not like them. Ranger Blomberg attempts de-escalation, appealing to Brandon's desire to return to their parents.
Brandon responds that it is acceptable to hurt "bad people". Pallbearer’s shoulder dislocates audibly. Their other arm twists violently before they fall to the ground.
Dust falls from the ceiling as the building structure creaks as if under immense strain.
Entities breach the building perimeter. Agent Paxton regains consciousness and, from a satellite phone, sends a final message to their spouse before engaging hostiles with small arms fire.
Brandon rises several feet above the ground as invading entities are suspended mid-air and torn apart. Paxton, Pallbearer, and Ranger Blomberg are also being lifted into the air.
An approximately eight-foot humanoid form phases through the wall. It presents as nude, scarred, and elongated, with milky eyes emitting directed light towards Brandon.
The entity addresses Brandon as Great One and pleads for calm. It asks to be allowed to exist in peace.
Ranger Blomberg fires at the entity. The bullet impacts and falls harmlessly to the floor.
Moments later, Blomberg’s abdomen twists violently and they are fatally disembowelled.
The Tall entity continues pleading as Brandon screams. "Please, we need you... I need you...".
Brandon looks to Paxton for reassurance. A subtle nod is provided in response.
Brandon screams, locking eyes with the Tall entity. Its limbs stretch and tear from its body, expelling purple ichor as it collapses.
Its final words are, "I’m sorry", as it slumps forward onto its knees.
Analyst note: The subject appears to be a significant being to the entities. Previous assumptions of the subject being a captive or slave should be re-evaluated.
Outside, the mass of entities halt simultaneously. They raise their arms skyward and sink into the ground in coordinated motion.
Rain stops. Silence follows.
No further hostile movement is observed.

They call out amongst the wreckage of the ranger station, Paxton gets their attention and asks for their assistance.
When let inside, a scene of gore and viscera lays before them. The beings had not been held back, and had reached the civilians. Both parties have plenty of questions.
The two agents deny knowledge of █████ █████ when directly referenced.
Hosquith resets Pallbearer’s dislocated shoulder upon request.
After being led upstairs, the agents meet Brandon. A variety of answers are being demanded from both sides, with fairly little intel being shared between them.
A cover-up plan is proposed involving relocation of bodies and staging of a gas explosion. The agents agree that it is best that the events that occurred do not become public knowledge.
Brandon is escorted to the FBI agent's vehicle with Agent Paxton while the others begin moving remains.
Hendrix makes some excuse to allow Hosquith to return to their vehicle.
After a short interval, Hendrix draws their weapon on Pallbearer inside the station. Pallbearer is quick enough to draw their weapon in response.
Outside, after a brief conversation with Paxton and Brandon about the prior events. Hosquith draws on Paxton with their weapon. Paxton is able to draw their weapon in response.
Two simultaneous standoffs develop.
