Agent Prada
Witness recounts their introduction occurring in a cosy San Francisco café, surrounded by sunshine, good espresso, and very little situational awareness.
Short, athletic, fashionably dishevelled in that curated-"pre-loved" way that rich people can get away with.
They are handed their bespoke coffee order with ██████ scrawled on the cup. Observed overrunning a barista with chatter before drifting into a brief interaction with a MAGA man screaming about aliens.
- MAGA man thrilled someone listened.
- Prada immediately regretted listening.
- No threat reported.
Agent Pinewood
Seen at a Colorado backyard BBQ straight out of a political advert. Sprinklers. Kids. Bouncy castle. Big belly father happily grilling.
Agent displayed stiff posture and fixed smile until their wife touched their shoulder, at which point their blood pressure demonstrably dropped. Wife appears to be in the early stages of pregnancy.
Their wife informs them of a confusing message on their work phone: "SALE! 75% OFF PINEWOOD, TOMORROW ONLY"
Noteworthy anomaly: In bathroom mirror, Pinewood briefly observed their reflection replaced by a featureless humanoid silhouette.
Agent did not report panic.
Analyst note: That is not standard.
Agent Pallbearer
In a therapist’s office that feels deliberately neutral: muted colours, an ant farm quietly ticking away in the corner, two simple chairs with cushions that have seen better decades.
Pallbearer presents as a wiry corporate man in a black tie. Dark circles from prolonged sleep deprivation.
They reports recurring dreams: a wedding tent filled with seated guests, their eyes cloudy and fixed. They notice the "Killer". The man laughs and jokes with the guests. They reache Pallbearer, and extends a handshake. Pallbearer wants to run but cannot.
They connects the paralysis in their dream to a life of enforced relocation and loss of control. The therapist counters that choosing to speak is itself agency.
As the session ends, Pallbearer collects their belongings and receives a single message:
PALLBEARER IS ACTIVATED.
Agent Presley
Silicon Valley HQ rooftop party. Pastel corporate branding. Vegan BBQ sliders.
Presley not at the party - instead in their office upstairs, interacting with a hidden floor safe.
Appearance: Late 20s, thin, pale, corporate-but-trying-not-to-be corporate.
Keeps a photo of a cat on their desk. Possible emotional anchor. Possible encryption mnemonic.
A call comes through, Presley instinctively blocks all view into their office. A phrase comes through: "Elvis has landed."
Agent Paxton
Kids running around. Wife leaning in the doorway teasing them about "another convention."
They promise to return before their daughter's birthday.
Their father calls bullshit within four seconds.
Father warns them: "This wasn't supposed to be a burden."
Hands them a double Lincoln coin. Filial tension spikes.
Paxton suppresses traumatic flashbacks involving chanting and darkness.
Preparation & Premises
Prada and Pinewood arrive first at 386 Graystone, entering via two codes and a suspiciously unlocked maintenance door.
Their exchanged phrase, for verification:
"Are you part of the Green movement?"
"Tyger tyger."
A fake keysafe reveals a camera with a glowing red dot; after vocal confirmation, the disguised wall slides open to reveal:
- A couple round tables with chairs
- A large screen mounted on the wall
- Three other Agents
Paxton stands and shakes everyone's hand.
Presley types furiously on a laptop sat at a table away from the other two agents.
Percival's Proclamation
Static. Click.
A suited figure wearing a white latex mask fills the screen. Voice distorted into a smooth, unnatural southern drawl, named Percival.
OPERATION FULMINATE
Child recovered in Yosemite:
Brandon F. McGill - disappeared 1980, age six. Recovered yesterday - still appears age six.
Disappearance site: Devil's Chair, Hetch Hetchy.
Park ranger testimonies lists patterns:
- Bad weather follows the disapperances
- Dogs unable to track any scent of McGill
- Disapperances happen around late afternoon or early dusk
- Tend to occur near huckleberry overgrowth
Brandon F McGill is currently being held at the Rancheria Falls Trailhead Station in Yosemite under the care of NPS Ranger Tomika Gallegos.
The McGill family, and the FBI have been informed.
Theories and Suspicions
Presley asked about others being "displaced through time." Prada nearly choked on air at the ridiculous premise.
Pallbearer suggests it could be a confidence scam, in an attempt to get financial rewards from the McGill family.
Percival signs off: "Scientia est Mors".
Partition of Duties
Signal chat created to stay in touch between Agents, "Criminal Conspiracy Chat."
Yosemite Team (CPS Cover)
Agents: Pallbearer, Prada, and Paxton.
Approach: Gentle, and official. With an aim to isolate the child from non-agency personnel.
Kerman Team (Greenbox Recovery)
Agents: Pinewood, and Presley.
Approach: Grab supplies, and rendezvous at Yosemite.
Parallel Field Operations
Yosemite
The trio head north in Paxton's Escalade, armed with fake CPS IDs, charity shop child clothing, and sweets.
False CPS IDs are printed en-route; Martin Shellbourne (Pallbearer), Lorne Williamson (Prada), and Andrew Palmer (Paxton)
Faint rain begins as they approach Ranger Station.
Pallbearer suggests establishing safehouse at Yosemite Westgate Lodge.
Kerman
Pinewood and Presley arrive at Golden West Mobile Estates.
A loud bang sets Pinewood into tactical mode; throwing Presley and himself behind cover.
Learning it was a car back-firing, Presley goes to investigate and interrogate - whilst Pinewood infiltrates Apartment 13.
Inside the musty apartment they recover:
- Assault rifle + ammunition
- Three old grenades
- An IED
- One ████████ ██████ ████ with █████ ███ ███████ inside an icebox
Agent reported startled response from Pinewood in reaction to the icebox - which is left behind and untouched.
False cover EPA IDs are printed; Dr T. Fredickson (Pinewood), and Dr Seamus (Presley).
The Agents promptly leave Kerman, and head towards Yosemite.
